Kevin Zahara is serving his first term on Edson Town Council, being elected at the age of 24.  This is not his first time in the political arena, as he was previously elected to Athabasca Town Council in 2003.  He had to resign from his position to move to Edson and take a position with NewCap Radio.  He currently  works at FOX Radio based in Edson, and oversees several radio stations in North West Alberta.   Kevin is the Town representative on the Community Services Board and serves on the Protective Services Committee and Personnel and Finance Committee.  He is also an alternate member on the Municipal Planning Commission.  Kevin encourages all young people to get into the polital process.  In his spare time he volunteers with the Boys and Girls Club of Edson and the Edson Citizens on Patrol Society.  Residents who have concerns can contact Kevin at kevinz@townofedson.ca .
